Description du programme
Le réseau illégal décelé, les principaux responsables sont jugés. Mais cette justice suffira-t-elle à Rolf qui crie vengeance ?
Thybo and his wife Eva are taken to court for a preliminary hearing. Here Eva confesses to having played a leading role in the network, Bliss, which has been organizing baby trafficking. It turns out Eva herself was an adopted Polish child and she has always dreamt of helping other children the same way, and as such, is mostly unrepentant. Thybo is charged with manipulating the investigation of the Minna case in order to shield his wife’s activities, removing profiles from the DNA register as well as other leads from the case. He also paid Minna's father, Zaid, to get out of Denmark and settle in his homeland. As their own children break down in tears, both Eva and Thybo are taken into custody.
Rolf is enraged – he wants to question Thybo himself, as he is now convinced that Thybo has played a part in Andrea’s disappearing. If she hadn’t disappeared, Rolf would have solved the Minna case five years earlier, and Eva and Thybo would have gone to jail.
After the hearing, Minna returns to Denmark to be reunited with her biological mother. But the reunion goes terribly wrong, especially for “Minna”, who wants to stay with the only parents she remembers to have lived with. As the crying girl is being dragged out of the room, Rolf is very emotional. Was the investigation for the best?
Maria and her new boyfriend help Rolf move into his apartment. But as the boyfriend congratulates Rolf with the solved case, and wonders how it must feel for Minna's mother, who imagined she would never see her child again, the situation turns very awkward. Maria’s boyfriend’s statement gets Rolf upset enough to seek out Thybo in jail. He confronts Thybo with having lied to his face for five years. He is convinced that Thybo needed to distract his attention to make him stop digging in the case, and therefore made Andrea disappear. But Thybo tells him that he had nothing to do with Andrea’s kidnapping, though he knows who has taken her: a Polish girl, who sought out Eva, convinced that they had stolen her infant. Rolf becomes furious as he hears this. He beats up Thybo and leaves him behind nearly beaten to death.

We relive Andrea’s disappearance through Julita’s eyes, as the final pieces of the puzzle fall into place. Julita has traced Thybo’s home and now demands to get her child back. Thybo doesn't have her baby and hustles her out. But Julita waits outside in her car, and the next morning she sees Rolf arrive to pick up Thybo, Rolf with a baby on his arm! She is sure that this must be her child and follows them through the storm aboard the ferry to Poland. Here, she waits until Rolf leaves the pram unguarded. It is now or never! She tumbles feverishly with the pram outside on the deck. The storm rages as she runs off with the child inside her coat. At that very moment, Rolf comes running outside, seeing the pram smashing against the railing. Julita manages to get off the ferry in her car with Andrea, driving by the desperate Rolf shouting and crying in despair, while Thybo tries to comfort him.
One year later, Thybo arrives at Julita’s address in Poland. She is furious seeing him, as she is convinced that it is her baby. Thybo says nothing against it, but feels guilty, and offers to help her, giving her the contact information for at home in France, which helps single mothers. Julita ends up accepting his help

Meanwhile, Neel and Claire interrogate Myhre, who is recovering in hospital. He sticks to the explanation that Victoria's death was an accident, but confesses to kidnapping Minna. But the reason he took Minna is different from Rolf's theory about the Polish woman snatching her own daughter back. Myhre explains that the Polish baby died because she was too premature, and he panicked and stole Minna to replace her. Just then, Claire and Neel are informed that Rolf has nearly beaten Thybo to death. There is a warrant out for Rolf, who apparently flew to France. Claire and Neel exchange a look – they have to go get him!
In France, Rolf has traced down Julita. He watches her at a distance, and as he sees a 5 ½ -year old girl by her side, he knows. She even looks like Rolf. He follows them, talks to both Julita and his daughter and observes them together. Julita is a very good mother, and the girl is extremely fond of her.
Neel calls him to warn him that she, Claire and the French police are coming to arrest him for aggravated assault. Rolf begs her for a little more time and tells Neel that he finally found Andrea. Neel is speechless.
Rolf continues to talk to Julita and his daughter, and he realizes that the two have a very special bond. The messy reunion of Minna with her biological mother also plays on his mind. After some time he picks up a stick from an ice cream Andrea has eaten. He puts it in a plastic bag – it has her DNA on it. Neel and Claire see it from a distance. They know he is right – it is his daughter. But as Rolf says goodbye to Julita and Andrea, turning towards to police, he throws the stick in a garbage bin, deciding to sacrifice his own desires – for now – and not disturb his daughter’s wonderful life with Julita. He willingly turns himself in to the police.
